Pastor Tyrone Jordan is a native of Willacoochee, Georgia born to Ricky Jordan, Sr. and Bobbie Jordan. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Dineatha Jordan, and together they have two sons and two grandchildren. Tyrone Jordan graduated from Atkinson County High School (Pearson, Georgia) in May 2000. He received a scholarship and went to Valdosta State University to pursue his dream of a football career. Jordan successfully completed a bachelor’s program where he obtained a degree in communications. During his time of growing up in the church under the leadership of Ruling Elder H. N. Turner (Sears Street COGBF – Douglas, Georgia), Jordan grew to more fully understand the truth of the gospel and its amazing implications for his life. In 2003, Jordan accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior.

 

A year later, Jordan acknowledged his calling into ministry, while pursuing a professional football career. After three years of unsuccessful attempts, Jordan realized that the Lord had greater plans for him. December 2008 marked the best of what was yet to come. Jordan became an ordained minister and four years later the Lord elevated him to an elder. Soon after, Jordan and his family began ministry (now known as Love and Grace Ministries) in Alma, Georgia (May 2014) at a storefront.

 

The Lord has proven himself to be faithful and has surpassed Jordan’s wildest dreams. Since the launch of the ministry, Jordan, his wife, and the congregants have been able to build a new church, a community center, and erected a developmental housing project as well as a men’s empowerment center. Jordan has a heart for God’s people and firmly believes that he was planted for a time such as this to empower and equip people to live a complete life for God.
